FEES & INSURANCE

We accept insurance, HSA/FSA, and credit cards. Each of our therapists sets their private pay rate based on their expertise, trainings, and geographic location. You’ll find more information about their fees on their personal pages. For a list of accepted insurance plans, see the list on the dropdown menu on this page.

  • If you're not using insurance, you can expect to pay $160-250 per session. If you want to use insurance, please use the link below to find your plan. Please also note that we don’t accept insurance for couples therapy.

    • You are always able to do online therapy (some insurance plans prevent this)

    • A diagnosis is not required to participate in therapy. When you use insurance, they require a diagnosis after the first session. Your treatment plan must also be based on your diagnosis(es)

    • Your course of treatment (including the length of time) is determined by YOU and your therapist, not your insurance company

    • You can choose a therapist that best suits your needs. Just because a therapist accepts your insurance, doesn’t mean they are a good fit for you. By choosing a therapist who is a good fit for you first, this increases the chances that you’ll meet your therapy goals.

    • More confidential. When you use insurance, they can request your therapy notes (and other items in your file)

    • Your treatment plan is based on your goals, not a diagnosis

  • Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance company if you plan to use Superbills and Out-of Network benefits:

    - Do I have out-of-network (OON) outpatient mental health benefits?

    - If yes (to above), what percentage or dollar amount will I be reimbursed for psychotherapy?

    - Is online therapy (aka telehealth, telemental health, or teletherapy) covered by OON benefits?

    - What documentation do I need to submit to receive OON psychotherapy reimbursements?

    - How do I submit the documentation?

    - Do I need a referral from an in-network provider (i.e., my doctor) to see an out-of-network provider?

    - If you’re seeking therapy with a therapist who is in a different state than you: Will I be reimbursed by services if my provider is physically located out of state?

  • Please note the following if you have Tricare

    • We currently only accept Tricare Select, and Prime for ADSM

    • ADSMs will need a referral prior to starting therapy with us

    • For Tricare Select: you’ll need to pay the Tricare contracted rate upfront and then you’ll be reimbursed by Tricare. The rates ranges from $115-140 per session, depending on where you live

    • Still have questions? Send a message to Gina, as she is our only Tricare provider. You can reach her by filling out the contact form on this page.

  • Unfortunately, they will not. Couples therapy is offered via private pay only. Your therapist may be able to offer a sliding scale. Check with them to see if they offer this.
